The Old Vine offers six individually designed rooms, including the Nina Campbell Room with Victorian and Art Deco furnishings, the Osborne & Little Room with Georgian plaster panelling and a four-poster bed, and the Zimmer & Rohde Room with Arts and Crafts pieces. Some rooms overlook Winchester Cathedral and the Square. All rooms include flat-screen TVs with Freeview, free Wi-Fi, digital safes, and mini-fridges with complimentary soft drinks. The Designers Guild Annexe provides a self-contained townhouse with two bedrooms, a kitchen, washing machine, and living room.
Dining & Drinks
The restaurant serves an a la carte menu with pub classics and Hampshire real ales, using local suppliers. Breakfast is available from 8am to 11:45am. Lunch service runs from noon to 3pm, with light bites available from 3pm to 6pm. Evening meals are served until 8:15pm (9pm Fridays and Saturdays). The Little Minster Room seats up to 16 guests for private dining and can accommodate dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.

The hotel is located in the Square, opposite Winchester Cathedral green and the City Museum, a short walk from the High Street. It is close to Winchester College, Wolvesey Castle (0.5 km), Winchester City Museum (0.3 km), and the South Downs Way. By road, take M3 junction 11 and follow signs for St Cross and the city center. Parking is available at 8 Little Minster Street (postcode SO23 9HB).
